What can you expect when you ask us to reupholster or repair your furniture?

STEP 1 –FREE QUOTATION

To begin with, we will visit you at your home or workplace to examine your chair, sofa, sofa bed or chaise longue, so that we can understand your requirements. We will discuss your options, advise you on the best and most cost effective approach for restoring your furniture, and give you a free quotation.

STEP 2 –CHOOSE THE FABRIC

Your chair or sofa needs to look and feel great, but it also has to suit the room it is in. It needs to be in harmony with your flooring, your curtains or blinds, your walls and your other furniture. We have a wide range of good quality and designer upholstery fabrics to choose from. We will help you find the perfect colour, pattern, texture and style … at the right price for you.

STEP 3 –YOU RELAX, WE WORK

After carefully transporting your furniture to our specialist upholstery workshop in Reading, we will remove the existing fabric and check the frame.

We will do any structural repairs that are needed, and tighten loose joints. We will then examine and replace any weak or broken webbing, fit new springs and replace hessian, foams and wadding if necessary.

The arms and backs of the chair or sofa will be re-covered first. We will then make all the new cushion covers, sewing in fabric care labels so that you will know how to clean them in future.

Lastly, we will add the finishing touches – buttons and trimmings – and thoroughly check your beautifully restored piece of furniture one last time.

STEP 4 – HOME DELIVERY

When your chair or sofa has been restored, we will cover it securely and deliver it back to your home at a pre-arranged time.
